WHAT IS CHALMERS FORMULA STUDENT?
Chalmers Formula Student is a student project and a course at Chalmers University of Technology. The project gathers a team of around 25 students every year to build a single-seated racing car. The team consists of students with different backgrounds and nationalities and creates a good environment for creativity and learning. The team starts from scratch and develops its own concept which is later realized to a design and then manufactured, all by the students themselves. To put the car to the test, the project is completed with a competition, Formula Student, at Silverstone in United Kingdom where the team compete against international teams from all over the globe.
